About Me

I’m a self-taught tailor with over 20 years experience designing and constructing everything from everyday clothing and fine lingerie to waterproof luggage and messenger bags. I am also a writer and producer, having worked on-and-off in the art and publishing world since I was a teenager, when my first job was managing one of the largest independent fanzine and artists books collections in the United States. In the past I’ve organized events and pop-ups around the world in collaboration with artists, creative agencies, and institutions such as La Biennale di Venezia, New Holland (St. Petersburg, Russia), Printed Matter, Kreemart, and the Museum of Modern Art; guest lectured at the Parsons School of Design; and exhibited my own publications at the Centre Pompidou, Paris.

Based now in New York City, designing and tailoring is my professional career and I continue to write and publish my own zines on the side.
